12 June protest in London in front of Iranian embassy

WPI UK were in front of the Iranian embassy in London yesterday marking the first year of the uprising of the people of Iran against the Islamic regime of Iran.

Today's protest in front of the Islamic regime's embassy in London was a huge success. About 100 people had gathered shouting slogans in English and Farsi. Some of the slogans were: Down with the Islamic regime of Iran! No to the anti-woman regime! Stop executions and torture now! Shut down the embassy! People had put up pictures of the 5 political activists that were executed last Sunday. Several times protesters threw balloons filled with colour across the street and the wall at the embassy.

Occupation of Iranian embassy in The Hague

A group of Iranian and non-Iranian activists have issued a statement on occupying parts of the Islamic Republic of Iran's embassy in The Hague, Netherlands today. They published their statement on the internet.

Today we have occupied part of the Iranian embassy in The Hague, in solidarity with you, the people of Iran, who in the past months have witnessed such a level of brutality and barbarity from your "rulers", that the world can see once and for all how illegitimate they truly are.

The Associated Press meanwhile reports that Dutch police arrested ten people who had climbed onto the roof of the embassy and tore down the flag.

Iranian embassy in Stockholm occupied!

Today, 26 June 2009, hundreds gathered in front of the Islamic Republic of Iran's embassy in Stockholm, Sweden to protest against the Islamic regime of Iran.

Around 4.30pm the protesters surged forward, broke through police lines, broke down the embassy doors and entered it. The armed security of the Islamic regime attempted to stop the protesters. They were immediately unarmed; embassy staff then fled the buidling.

Swedish police arrived and fired shots in the air after which the demonstrators left the building.
